Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency.
• Technical degree or vocational training preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing mechanical assembly work.
• Basic level computer skills (MS Office – Excel, Outlook, MS Word).
• Basic to intermediate mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.

Responsibilities

• Performs standard assembly procedures, rework, and repair on manufactured equipment and products.
• Learns to use different tools and equipment to assemble units according to required specifications.
• Identifies faulty parts and conducts pressure tests on the assembled parts to ensure proper function and quality.
• Learns to maintain tools, shop, and equipment in good condition and keep work area clean and orderly.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, and written instructions from engineers to assemble parts or products.
• Practices safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and GEO-specific health and safety expectations.
