Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing mechanical assembly work.
  • Basic level computer skills (MS Office – Excel, Outlook, MS Word).
  • Basic to intermediate mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.

  • Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, and written instructions from engineers to assemble parts or products.
  • Practices safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and GEO-specific health and safety expectations.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Performs standard assembly procedures, rework, and repair on manufactured equipment and products.
  • Learns to use different tools and equipment to assemble units according to required specifications.
  • Identifies faulty parts and conduct pressure tests on the assembled parts to ensure that they are functioning properly and are of good quality.
  • Learns to maintain tools, shop, and equipment in good condition and keep shop and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, and written instructions of engineers to assemble the parts or products.
  • Practice safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and GEO-specific Health and Safety expectations
Qualifications, Experience, Skills/Knowledge:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalency.
  • Technical degree or vocational training preferred.
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in manufacturing mechanical assembly work.
  • Basic level computer skills (MS Office – Excel, Outlook, MS Word).
  • Basic to intermediate mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to safely perform related physical demands of the role:
    Bending, lifting, stooping, and standing greater than 50% of the time
  • Repetitive motion demands
    Hands/wrist/shoulder.
  • Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds (over 50 pounds requires a team lift).
Work Environment/Environmental Conditions:
  • Occasional exposure to hazardous chemicals, fumes, and gases
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
