Job summary

Onboarding Resource, LLC in Houston, TX is seeking Mechanical Assemblers for industrial manufacturing. You will support the production and assembly of mechanical systems, read drawings, and use hand and power tools in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires experience with mechanical assembly and measuring tools, with候 strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions. Night shifts include a 10% differential while daily shifts offer competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical assembly in manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
• Familiarity with mechanical components, fasteners, tubing, piping, and structural components.
• Experience using torque wrenches, levels, and calipers.
• Strong attention to detail and hands-on assembly ability.
• Forklift or material-handling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and sub-assemblies according to drawings and work instructions.
• Install components, frames, panels, piping, tubing, hardware and related materials.
• Use hand, pneumatic, and power tools as required.
• Use measuring and alignment tools to verify work.
• Perform quality checks and identify non-conforming materials.
• Follow established assembly and production procedures.
• Maintain tools and workspace in an organized condition.
• Support production activities and collaborate with other departments.
• Follow safety and quality procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
