Job summary

Superior Ind is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our night shift team. In this role, you'll contribute to our production process with a focus on high-quality results in a supportive, dynamic environment.

You will install parts and sub-assemblies, operate tools, and follow safety procedures including overhead crane work. The position runs 4:30pm–3:00am Monday–Thursday in Morris, MN, with benefits such as medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k) with matching, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Mechanical ability is helpful.
• Tool identification.
• Able to read blueprints with attention to detail.
• Able to read 1/8”, 1/16”, and 1/32” graduations on a tape measure and convert between feet and inches.

Responsibilities

Job description

Superior is looking for skilled and dedicated Assembly Technician to join our night shift team. In this role, you'll be essential to our production process, ensuring high-quality results. We offer a supportive and dynamic work environment where your contributions are valued.

An Industrial Assembler is responsible for the following job duties:

• Assembly & Installation: Install purchased parts and sub-assemblies both before and after the painting process.
• Equipment Operation: Operate various tools and equipment, including bearing presses, impact wrenches, and nail guns.
• Safety & Crane Operation: Adhere strictly to safe operating and lifting procedures when using overhead cranes.
• General Support: Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor to support production needs.

Compensation

• The starting pay range for this position is $19 - $24 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.
• Night shift positions receive an additional $3 per hour shift differential.

Night Shift

• 4:30pm - 3:00am Monday - Thursday
