Shifts: Day & Night Shifts Available
Pay: $21.00–$27.00 per hour, depending on experience
Night Shift Premium: Additional 10% shift differential for qualifying night shift hours

Position Summary

Apache Workforce is seeking Mechanical Assemblers for industrial manufacturing opportunities in the Houston area. Mechanical Assemblers support the production and assembly of mechanical systems, equipment, and components in a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience with mechanical assembly, hand and power tools, measuring equipment, and reading drawings or assembly instructions.

Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies according to drawings and work instructions.

Install mechanical components, frames, panels, piping, tubing, hardware, and related materials.

Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, and powered equipment as required.

Use measuring and alignment tools to verify completed work.

Perform quality checks and identify materials or assemblies that do not meet specifications.

Follow established assembly and production procedures.

Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in an organized condition.

Support production activities and work collaboratively with other departments.

Follow company safety and quality procedures.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience in mechanical assembly, industrial assembly, fabrication, or a related manufacturing environment preferred.

Ability to read and follow engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and work instructions.

Familiarity with mechanical components, fasteners, tubing, piping, and structural components.

Experience using measuring and layout tools such as torque wrenches, levels, calipers, or similar equipment.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Strong attention to detail and ability to perform hands‑on assembly work.

Forklift or material‑handling experience is a plus.

Preferred Experience

2–5 years of mechanical assembly or related manufacturing experience.

Experience working in an industrial or production environment.

Familiarity with P&IDs, ISO drawings, fabrication prints, or similar technical documents.

Experience in quality‑focused or ISO‑certified manufacturing environments.

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word or Excel.

This position is performed in an industrial manufacturing shop environment.

The position may involve:

Standing and moving throughout the work area for extended periods.

Bending, reaching, and performing repetitive assembly tasks.

Handling and moving materials weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.

Working around manufacturing equipment, tools, materials, and production activities.

Working in areas that may not be climate controlled.

Working scheduled shifts that may be up to 10 hours, with additional days based on assignment and production needs.
