Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to build and drive breakers according to blueprints and wiring diagrams. The role involves unpacking components, inspecting parts, and assembling breakers to drawings and customer specs.

You will discuss diagram errors with supervisors to clarify issues and ensure products meet quality standards. Candidates should have at least 1 year of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing setting and strong communication skills to coordinate with team

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints or wiring diagrams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are important.

Responsibilities

Unpack interrupters and inspect for proper functioning.
Complete inspection of each type.
Assemble breakers to standard drawings and customer specifications.
Discuss errors in diagrams or production order with supervisor/engineer to clarify assembly problems.
Perform assembly functions in accordance with Quality Control Procedures to ensure outputs meet standards.
Inspect own work to ensure breakers are properly assembled, vacuumed, pre-filled, and ready to test; document work performed.
Clean the work area at the end of the shift.
