Job summary

GE Vernova in Charleroi, PA is seeking a Mechanical Assembler/Technician to build and drive breakers according to blueprints and wiring diagrams. You will unpack interrupters, inspect components, and assemble breakers to standard drawings and customer specifications.

The role requires at least 1 year of mechanical-assembly experience in a manufacturing setting, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to discuss diagram issues with supervisors to resolve assembly questions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience or technical training in mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Inspect own work to ensure each breaker is properly assembled, vacuumed, pre-filled, and ready to test; document work performed by filling out proper forms (Labor, Quality Control Records, etc.).
• Clean work area at the end of the shift.
