Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. in Pennsylvania is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to build and install drive mechanisms and breakers according to blueprints and wiring diagrams.

You will unpack interrupters, inspect components, and assemble breakers per standard drawings and customer specifications. The role requires at least 1 year of mechanical assembly experience in manufacturing and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience or technical training in mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Unpack interrupters and inspect for proper functioning.
• Complete inspection of each type.
• Assemble breakers to standard drawings and customer specifications.
• Discuss errors in diagrams or production order with supervisor/engineer to clarify assembly problems.
• Perform assembly functions in accordance with QC procedures to ensure output meets QC and customer standards.
• Inspect own work to ensure breakers are properly assembled, vacuumed, pre-filled, and ready to test; document work performed.
• Clean work area at end of shift.
