Job summary

Randstad USA in Huntsville, AL is hiring a Mechanical Assembler for the Weekend shift (Fri–Sun, 36 hours paid as 40). You will assemble mechanical components, follow work instructions and safety procedures, and use hand and power tools to meet quality standards.

Previous assembly experience is preferred but training is available. The role offers a stable weekend schedule, on-site work, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
• Follows wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing per blueprints.
• Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
• Essential functions include working weekends.

We are currently hiring a Mechanical Assembler for our Weekend shift (Friday - Sunday 36 hours get paid for 40hrs.). The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical components, following work instructions and safety procedures, using hand and power tools, and ensuring products meet quality standards. Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a consistent weekend schedule and a hands-on work environment.

salary: $16 - $18 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 6 AM - 6 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
