Job summary

GE-Vernova- is seeking an assembler to construct electrical subassemblies in accordance with the manufacture letters, drawings, and supervisor guidance. The role includes isolating current transformers and applying insulation materials to ferrule and low voltage components.

You will interpret isolation plans, follow process standards, and measure dimensions throughout insulation and assembly operations to ensure quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling electrical equipment following letters of manufacture and drawings.
• Ability to interpret isolation plans and work instructions.
• Experience handling insulation materials and performing insulation processes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical subassemblies following the letter of manufacture and supervisor directions.
• Interpret isolation plans and work instructions for each task.
• Perform isolation of current transformers to oil, applying insulation paper to ferrule and low voltage tube.
• Manufacture the primary TC per chart, cutting copper strips, stacking, insulating, welding posts, and counting turns as required.
• Prepare OSKF insulation material by bonding according to process standards.
• Use measuring instruments to verify dimensions throughout insulation process.

Job Description Summary

Assemble electrical subassemblies of the products, following the letter of manufacture (CF), drawings and superior orientations, executing the manufacture of the primary and isolation of the TCs (Current Transformers).

Job Description

• Assist in the accomplishment of the activities related to the assembly of equipment, following letter of manufacture, drawings and superior orientations;
• Make interpretation of isolation plans and work instructions;
• Perform the isolation of the TCs to oil, following norms and letters of manufacture, coating the ferrule and low voltage tube with insulation papers;
• Perform the manufacture of the primary TC, following norms and letter of manufacture, cutting copper strips, laying them one on top of the other, coating them with insulating material, welding the posts and effecting the number of turns according to the manufacturing chart;
• Conduct the preparation of OSKF insulation material by bonding according to process standards;
• Make use of measuring instruments to accompany the dimensional throughout the insulation process.
