Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an assembler to manufacture electrical subassemblies following manufacture letters, drawings, and orientations, ensuring correct isolation of TCs and adherence to process standards.

You will interpret isolation plans, prepare insulation materials, cut and stack copper strips, weld posts, and verify dimensions with measuring instruments throughout insulation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly of equipment following letter of manufacture, drawings and orientations
• Interpret isolation plans and work instructions
• Perform isolation of the TCs to oil, coating ferrule and low voltage tube with insulation papers
• Manufacture the primary TC: cut copper strips, stack them, insulate, weld posts, and wind turns per the chart
• Prepare OSKF insulation material by bonding according to process standards
• Use measuring instruments to verify dimensions throughout the insulation process

Role Summary / Purpose:

Assemble electrical subassemblies of the products, following the letter of manufacture (CF), drawings and superior orientations, executing the manufacture of the primary and isolation of the TCs (Current Transformers).

Essential Responsibilities:

• Assist in the accomplishment of the activities related to the assembly of equipment, following letter of manufacture, drawings and superior orientations;
• Make interpretation of isolation plans and work instructions;
• Perform the isolation of the TCs to oil, following norms and letters of manufacture, coating the ferrule and low voltage tube with insulation papers;
• Perform the manufacture of the primary TC, following norms and letter of manufacture, cutting copper strips, laying them one on top of the other, coating them with insulating material, welding the posts and effecting the number of turns according to the manufacturing chart;
• Conduct the preparation of OSKF insulation material by bonding according to process standards;
• Make use of measuring instruments to accompany the dimensional throughout the insulation process.
