$1,500 sign-on bonus!

Coperion is currently seeking a Mechanical Assembler (Custom Machine Assembly) to support our location in Whitewater, WI. This is not a standard production assembly line position. You will be building different equipment each day. There is a lot of room for growth into other disciplines if desired! We have a 5S environment, very clean production floor and great people to work with!

Schedule: 1st shift Monday-Thursday 6am-3pm & Friday 6am - Noon

Responsibilities

• Develop a working knowledge of Coperion products, parts and part numbers, a thorough understanding of safety requirements, and build a wide variety of quality mechanical assemblies using blueprints, schematics and work orders
• Interface with engineers and other manufacturing disciplines within the factory to overcome challenges and meet customer's needs
• Review and follow technical drawings
• Operate machines, tooling equipment, fork truck, and overhead cranes for production and assembly
• Support our lean manufacturing process with 5S
• Adhere to ISO 9001 company standards, work instructions and procedures
  
  

Required Education/Experience/Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of recent mechanical aptitude experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with hand tools and a strong understanding of blueprint reading are required
• Ability to multitask
• Basic computer knowledge preferred
• Dependability a must
