International Thermal Systems LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a Mechanical Assembler B under the supervision of the Mechanical Assembler Supervisor. You will assemble complex industrial equipment according to company policies and procedures.
You will study assembly instructions and blueprints, gather parts and tools, assemble sub-assemblies, interface with engineers, and plan procedures. The role requires proficiency in MIG, TIG, STICK welding and cutting, with accuracy in reading prints and logging
Under the direction of the Mechanical Assembler Supervisor, the Mechanical Assembler B is responsible for all aspects of assembling complex industrial fabricated equipment in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

The Mechanical Assembler role requires regular standing, walking, and movement throughout the production floor for extended periods. Employees must frequently lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment up to 50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting supported by team assistance or mechanical devices. The position requires manual dexterity to handle, position, thread, weld, and assemble piping components with precision, as well as coordinated hand-eye movement when operating threading machines, welding equipment, and cutting tools. Work may involve climbing ladders, accessing elevated platforms, or maneuvering into confined spaces to complete installations or inspections. Visual acuity is necessary to read schematics and measure materials accurately, and employees must be able to hear and respond to equipment sounds, alarms, and verbal instructions. The role also requires tolerance for working in hot or cold conditions and around active welding, cutting, and fabrication operations.
Work is performed primarily in a manufacturing facility where employees are exposed to noise, fumes, dust, and fluctuating temperatures. The role involves regular proximity to industrial machinery such as welding equipment, threading machines, forklifts, and fabrication tools, requiring strict adherence to all safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures. Personal protective equipment-including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear is required at all times. The position operates within a team-based environment, requiring frequent coordination with Engineering, Electrical, and Production personnel. Daily tasks may vary between fabrication, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation depending on production schedules and operational priorities. Employees must consistently follow company safety rules and maintain awareness of hazards within the work area.
