Job summary

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Mechanical Assembler for a company in Richfield, WI. This is a potential to hire opportunity on 1st or 2nd shift.

The role involves operating production line equipment, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while meeting production targets. Strong math, tool use, and teamwork are essential; welding knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Good mechanical aptitude with hands-on use of hand and power tools.
• Welding knowledge or experience is preferred.
• Strong math skills, including working with fractions and decimals.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/16-inch increments.
• Excellent attendance and reliability are required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate production line equipment and tools on Hy-Brid line.
• Responsible for quality control; report issues that may fall outside of product specifications.
• Communicate and flex with co-workers to maintain required production line flow.
• Accurately complete daily timecards and required production documentation.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow safety regulations.
• May perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
