Job summary

Position Title: Industrial Assembler Wage: $19.00 - $20.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:30am - 3:30pm Are your skills not being fully utilized? Reach your maximum potential by working with QPS! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for an Industrial Assembler at a company in Racine, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift.

Industrial Assembler Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment to meet daily production goals
• Interpret and understand engineering blueprints and technical schematics to ensure accurate assembly
• Assemble products, sub-assemblies, and individual parts using various tools and techniques
• Perform adjustments, repairs, and rework as needed to meet quality control standards and design specifications
• Operate a variety of tools including power drills, saws, hand tools, tape measures, and levels
• Adhere to all company procedures, safety protocols, and production directives. Maintain and care for all tools used during the assembly process to ensure proper functioning and longevity
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and well-maintained in accordance with 5S and company housekeeping standards

Requirements for Industrial Assembler

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a similar manufacturing role preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Comfortable with physical work and capable of lifting heavy items with team support
• Familiarity with standard hand and power tools used in manufacturing settings
