Job summary

INNIO Group in Trenton, NJ is seeking Mechanical Assemblers to assemble modules, components and complete systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality production.

You will read and interpret technical drawings, follow blueprints, and perform quality checks while maintaining a clean, safe workspace on 1st and 2nd shifts. Compensation ranges from $23.00 to $38.00 per hour, depending on experience and certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience preferred.
• Technical vocational training in metal sector or several years of relevant experience.
• Professional experience as a metal worker or mechanical technician is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Role Summary:

Mechanical Assemblers are responsible for assembling modules, components, and complete systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality production.

• Assemble mechanical modules and subassemblies according to technical specifications.

• Collaborate with other departments (engineering, quality, logistics) to ensure smooth production flow.
• Follow work instructions, blueprints, and safety protocols.
• Perform quality checks and report any issues or deviations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience preferred.
• Completed technical vocational training, preferably in the metal sector, or several years of relevant experience.
• Professional experience as a metal worker, mechanical engineering technician, locksmith, or similar is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and mechanical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, teamwork abilities, and a self-starter.

Hiring for 1st & 2nd Shifts:

1st Shift Hours: Monday - Friday (5:30 am - 10:00 pm)

2nd Shift Hours: Monday - Friday (2:00pm- 10:30pm)

Compensation Range: $23.00/hr.--$38.00/hr. (Varies depending on relevancy of experience, technical certifications and other job-related criteria)
