Job summary

INNIO Group in Trenton, NJ is seeking skilled Mechanical Assemblers to build modules and complete power system components on 1st and 2nd shifts.

INNIO has formed a joint venture between Jenbacher, a global leader in gas engines, power equipment, and automation technology, and Gfoellner, a top-tier manufacturer of custom-made vehicle bodies and containers. We are currently seeking skilled and dedicated individuals to join our growing team on 1st & 2nd shifts at our Trenton, NJ facility.

Role Summary

Mechanical Assemblers are responsible for assembling modules, components, and complete systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality production.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical modules and subassemblies according to technical specifications.
• Integrate various components into complete systems.
• Collaborate with other departments (engineering, quality, logistics) to ensure smooth production flow.
• Follow work instructions, blueprints, and safety protocols.
• Perform quality checks and report any issues or deviations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications/Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience preferred.
• Completed technical vocational training, preferably in the metal sector, or several years of relevant experience.
• Professional experience as a metal worker, mechanical engineering technician, locksmith, or similar is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and mechanical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, teamwork abilities, and a self-starter.

Hiring For 1st & 2nd Shifts

1st Shift Hours: Monday - Friday (5:30 am - 10:00 pm)

2nd Shift Hours: Monday - Friday (2:00pm- 10:30pm)

Compensation Range

$23.00/hr.--$38.00/hr. (Varies depending on relevancy of experience, technical certifications and other job-related criteria)
