Job summary

Hamilton Connections, Inc. in Newtown, CT is seeking a mechanical assembler for a temp-to-hire position at a manufacturing company. Hours are 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., Monday–Friday.

Pay is $20–$25 per hour. You will assemble electrical and mechanical components, solder wires, read diagrams and basic drawings, use common hand tools, and help maintain a safe, organized work area. The ideal candidate will have mechanical assembly and soldering experience, be detail-oriented, able to follow

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical and mechanical components using work instructions and diagrams.
• Solder wires, terminals and small components.
• Cut, strip, route and terminate wires using basic tools.
• Install small components in tight areas and use torque wrenches.
• Inspect assemblies for quality standards.
• Report damaged parts or documentation discrepancies.
• Follow safety procedures and keep work area clean.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and quality personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.

Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for a mechanical assembler position at a manufacturing company in Newtown CT. This is a temp-to-hire position.

The hours are 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $20-$25 an hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assemble electrical and mechanical components using work instructions, diagrams and basic drawings
• Solder wires, terminals, connectors and small components
• Cut, strip, route and terminate wires using wire strippers, wire cutters, lug crimpers and similar tools
• Install small components and hardware in tight or difficult-to-reach areas within an assembly
• Properly use torque wrenches and common mechanical assembly tools
• Inspect completed assemblies for quality standards
• Report damaged parts, assembly issues or documentation discrepancies
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Work independently while cooperating with production, engineering and quality personnel
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Mechanical assembly and soldering experience
