Job summary

Labor Solutions, LLC in Minnesota is seeking a 1st shift Mechanical Assembler for our job shop. Hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime depending on workload.

You will prepare work from drawings, assemble components, test product, and keep a clean, safe work area. Candidates should have basic knowledge of hydraulics or pneumatics, solid mechanical aptitude, basic wire skills, and the ability to read assembly drawings and schematics.

Qualifications

• Basic working knowledge of hydraulics or pneumatics.
• A good mechanical aptitude.
• Basic wire skills.
• The ability to test product and interpret assembly drawings and schematics.
• Proficient in setup and product testing.
• Analysis and troubleshooting of product failures.

Responsibilities

Standard Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepares work to be completed by studying assembly instructions, drawing specifications and parts.
2. Examines connections for correct fit, fastens parts and subassemblies and assembles components.
3. Checks on stock level while maintaining inventory supplies.
4. Set up and test product with minimal supervision
5. Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
6. Comply with company policies and procedures; observe safety rules and regulations, reporting hazardous conditions and unsafe practices to Supervisor.
7. Perform other duties and assignments as directed by management.

Working Conditions

1. Job shop environment.
2. Rapidly changing priorities
3. Forty-hour work week (potential for overtime dependent on workload).
4. Safety shoes/glasses required
