Job summary

Labor Solutions, LLC in Minnesota is seeking a 1st shift Mechanical Assembler for our job shop. Hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime depending on workload.

You will prepare work from drawings, assemble components, test product, and keep a clean, safe work area. Candidates should have basic knowledge of hydraulics or pneumatics, solid mechanical aptitude, basic wire skills, and the ability to read assembly drawings and schematics.

Qualifications

• Basic working knowledge of hydraulics or pneumatics.
• A good mechanical aptitude.
• Basic wire skills.
• The ability to test product and interpret assembly drawings and schematics.
• Proficient in setup and product testing.
• Analysis and troubleshooting of product failures.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work to be completed by studying assembly instructions, drawing specifications and parts.
• Examines connections for correct fit, fastens parts and subassemblies and assembles components.
• Checks on stock level while maintaining inventory supplies.
• Set up and test product with minimal supervision.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Comply with company policies and procedures; observe safety rules and regulations, reporting hazardous conditions and unsafe practices to Supervisor.
• Perform other duties and assignments as directed by management.
