Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking an Electrical Assembler for a hands-on manufacturing role in Lenexa, KS. You will build and test electrical components and systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, and common hand tools.

The position runs first shift, 6:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Thursday, with a focus on precision, safety, and quality of finished assemblies. Ideal candidates have experience with wiring, soldering, and wire harness assembly, and can read technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience with assembly, soldering, cable and wire harness assembly.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring, schematics, and use of hand tools.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics for precise assembly.
• Mechanical aptitude with understanding of components and assembly processes.
• Experience with IPC 620 standards is highly desirable.
• Attention to detail and manual dexterity for handling small parts.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to ensure proper assembly.

• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and follow safety procedures.
• Wear PPE on the manufacturing floor.

Electrical Assembler

Position Title: Electrical Assembler Wage: $19.00-$23.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday

Requirements

• - Prior experience with assembly, soldering, cable and wire harness assembly
• - Knowledge of electrical wiring, schematics, and the use of hand tools such as calipers, screwdrivers, and wire strippers
• - Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately for precise assembly work
• - Mechanical aptitude with understanding of mechanical components and assembly processes
• - Experience working with IPC 620 standards for electronic assemblies is highly desirable
• - Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity for handling small electronic parts
• - Electrical experience, including testing with ohmmeters or multimeters; familiarity with power tools is beneficial
• - Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
• - Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10-50 pounds occasionally
• - Ability to work in an environment with varying noise levels, ranging from quiet to extremely loud
• - Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on the manufacturing floor, including but not limited to, eye, ear, and foot protection
