Job summary

AlliedoneSource in Olathe, KS is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to build electro-mechanical generator systems and electrical panels. You will read drawings and SOPs and assemble parts per production orders.

Responsibilities include wiring, harnesses, PCB grounding, testing, and basic troubleshooting. Requires 1+ year in manufacturing and a high school diploma; schedule is 6am–2:30pm, Mon–Fri with overtime and some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year experience in manufacturing/mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, work orders, and production schedules.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work overtime as needed.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

• Troubleshoot/repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping and support continuous improvement.

Mechanical Assembler

What You’ll Do

• Assemble electro-mechanical generator systems per drawings, schematics, SOPs, and work orders
• Build/assemble electrical control panels, breaker panels, and transformers
• Install wiring, harnesses, connectors, circuit boards, power supplies, labels, and hardware into chassis
• Route/bundle/terminate wiring; crimp pins, perform connector termination, and inspect finished work (rework as needed)
• Use hand tools and power/air tools; operate overhead cranes to move products/equipment
• Measure/verify tolerances and clearances using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and torque tools
• Solder components and fasten parts to assemblies/subassemblies
• Perform basic troubleshooting/repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment (may include PLC-related troubleshooting)
• Pull parts inventory, drill/tap/ream holes, inspect parts, correct defects, and complete required paperwork
• Maintain housekeeping/line clearance and support continuous improvement/lean practices

What We’re Looking For

Physical / Work Environment

• Regular standing, bending, crouching, and working around equipment while wearing PPE - steel toed shoes
• Regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Warehouse environment (non-air-conditioned/heated) with possible outdoor exposure; dust, noise, fumes, and temperature/humidity changes

Pay: $18

Schedule: 6am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday

Must be open to working overtime until 4:30 and some Saturdays
