Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited in Laurel, MD is actively seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join a specialist engineering/manufacturing team. The role covers mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly from drawings and BOMs, performing soldering/crimping, conducting basic tests, and maintaining a clean, safe workstation. 40-hour weeks, on-site, with a flexible schedule and immediate start.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or technical environment.
• Experience with wiring and soldering.

• IPC standards knowledge a plus.

Salary: USD30 - USD36 per hour

This company designs, manufactures, tests and installs innovative technologies that provide situational awareness, threat detection and communications capabilities for the national security community. Due to increased workload, they are now looking to add an additional assembler to support ongoing builds.

In this role you will assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components from drawings, schematics and bills of materials, carrying out intermediate-level soldering and crimping on connectors, cables and circuit boards, and completing basic functional tests using equipment such as multimeters and signal generators. You'll also maintain a safe, organized workstation in line with 5S standards and support Level I assemblers where needed.

This role would suit an experienced Assembler looking for secure, steady work on advanced assemblies, with a flexible 40-hour week and a team that prioritizes quality and doing the job properly.
