Job summary

SCI Technology, a Sanmina Company, is recruiting for a Mechanical Assembler in Huntsville, AL. You will perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly, wire harnessing, soldering, and bench setups in a Defense & Aerospace environment.

You must follow written procedures, lift up to 15 pounds, and be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance; US citizenship is required for this ITAR facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be willing to work occasional overtime.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

JOB TITLE: Mechanical Assembler

Nature Of Work

Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
