Job summary

Sanmina Corporation in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join our defense and aerospace electronics team. You will perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly, wiring, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on sub-assemblies per blueprints.

Shift 4A (Mon-Thu). Requirements: high school diploma, ability to lift up to 15 pounds, follow written procedures, and willingness to work overtime. This ITAR facility requires U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work occasional overtime.
• Lift or move materials usually not in excess of 15 pounds.
• Follow written instructions from formal procedures.
• Perform repetitive task on assembly line.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
• Determines and follows methods and sequence of operations in wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
• Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.

Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
