Sanmina Corporation, through its SCI Technology division, is recruiting in Huntsville, AL for a skilled soldering technician. You will perform a wide variety of electronic soldering and electro-mechanical assembly operations, reading blueprints and following detailed instructions to achieve high-reliability assemblies.
The role requires 4–6 years of related experience, High School diploma preferred, IPC610 and ANSI J-STD-001 certifications preferred. ITAR facility, US Citizenship required.

Performs a wide variety of electronic soldering or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. This role requires the ability to read and follow blueprint specifications, schematics, and detailed assembly instructions in conformance to industry standards and blueprint tolerances. The technician determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units. The technician inspects finished products to identify soldering defects or quality issues and assesses whether rework or repairs are needed.
Experience: Minimum of 4–6 years of related experience.
Education: High School diploma (desired).
Certifications: IPC610 Certification and ANSI J-STD-001 Certification (both desired).
