Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test enclosed drive gearboxes.
  • Perform gearbox and subassembly assembly operations.
  • Read assembly blueprints and use calipers and other precision measuring instruments.
  • Record measurements and production data accurately.
  • Troubleshoot assembly issues and make necessary corrections.
  • Maintain organized work areas, equipment, and tools.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve production issues.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the assembly and testing areas.
  • Assist with process improvements and team problem-solving.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job description

We're looking for a Mechanical Assembler to join a manufacturing team responsible for assembling and testing enclosed drive gearboxes. This is a hands‑on position ideal for candidates with mechanical assembly experience who enjoy working in a fast‑paced production environment. The role involves assembling gearboxes and subassemblies, reading blueprints, using measuring tools, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Schedule
  • Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Overtime may be required based on workload)
  • $22.89 - $28.43 per hour
Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test enclosed drive gearboxes
  • Perform gearbox and subassembly assembly operations
  • Read assembly blueprints and use calipers and other precision measuring instruments
  • Record measurements and production data accurately
  • Troubleshoot assembly issues and make necessary corrections
  • Maintain organized work areas, equipment, and tools
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies

  • Willing to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed
