Job summary

Aerotek is seeking skilled Mechanical Assemblers for a 2-4 month project at a site in Hilliard, OH. You will assemble hood kits, load and unload parts, and perform quality checks, with the work conducted outside under a production tent.

The role operates Monday through Thursday from 6:00am to 4:30pm and is fully onsite. Compensation ranges from $28 to $30 per hour, with benefits typical of Aerotek roles. This position supports several safety and quality standards on a temporary basis.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with power tools.
• 5+ years of experience with hand tools.
• Experience with pneumatic tools, grinders and saws.
• Experience in mechanics, maintenance, high-level assembly, or construction; military experience is a plus.

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Mechanical Assemblers to join a dynamic team for a 2-4 month project at a Site in Hilliard. This role involves the assembly of industrial-sized hood kits, which will be moved using forklifts once properly assembled. Candidates will be responsible for the complete process, including loading, unloading of parts, assembly, quality inspection, and site clean-up.

Shift

Monday - Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm

Responsibilities

• Assemble industrial-sized hood kits using hand tools and power tools.
• Load and unload parts efficiently.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure all assemblies meet standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work site.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience with power tools.
• 5+ years of experience with hand tools.
• Experience with pneumatic tools.
• Experience using grinders and saws.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in mechanics, maintenance, high-level assembly, or construction industries.
• Experience working in the military is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
