Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing, industrial, fabrication, or electrical equipment environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using hand tools, measuring devices, and assembly equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented production environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies used in low and medium voltage electrical equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Align, fit, and install sheet metal, structural steel, cable tray, and related components.
• Drill, tap, and modify equipment as required by engineering specifications.
• Utilize hand and power tools to complete assemblies accurately and efficiently.
• Operate material handling equipment including forklifts and overhead cranes when needed.
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
