Automation Personnel Services is looking for a n Mechanical Assembler for a company based in Canton , GA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to join a nationally certified woman-owned, family-operated manufacturer with nearly 100 years of industry leadership. This is a great position for someone looking to grow in a hands-on, stable manufacturing environment where your work makes a real impact.

Pay Rate
$ 19.32 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Thursday , 3:30 p m to 1:30 a m

Enjoy a three day weekend !!

Some overtime opportunities are available

Mechanical Assembler Duties and Responsibilities
• Operate and change over equipment (shears, riveters, roll formers, etc.) to assemble blower housings.

• Insert and fasten components like shafts, wheels, and rivet nuts according to specifications.

• Pack finished assemblies onto pallets with correct labeling and documentation.

• Perform visual inspections and quality checks using forms.

• Complete minor machine adjustments and daily equipment maintenance.

• Enter production data into shop floor systems and maintain tags.

• Assist other operators and maintain clean, organized workstations.

• Follow all prescribed safety rules and procedures.

• Additional related job duties as assigned by management.

Mechanical Assembler Qualifications and Requirements
• High school diploma or GED preferred .

• Some assembly or mechanical experience is highly preferred .

• Ability to stand for 10–12 hours and perform repetitive tasks involving hands and shoulders .

• Ability to lift up to 75lbs unassisted and pass in office lifting assessment – this is a physically demanding role .

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions .

• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic required .

• Background check and drug screening is required.
