Electro-Mechanical Assembler III - Line Lead

Overview

The Electro-Mechanical Assembler III - Line Lead position requires mechanical and electrical skills to assemble or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces, or products in a manufacturing environment. The role involves training employees, performing quality checks, and interacting with engineering and production personnel.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret instructions, schematics, blueprints, and drawings.
• Use assembly drawings, schematics, and bills of materials to work from and solve problems.
• Identify parts by description, drawings, and measurements.
• Operate hand tools, drill presses, grinders, tape measures, and vernier calipers.
• Build contactors, power taps, and sub-assemblies from shop orders and wiring schematics.
• Rework and repair assembled equipment per engineering specifications.
• Ensure proper completion of production logs.
• Perform quality checks and audits to meet standards.
• Provide feedback on quality issues to employees and supervisors.
• Collaborate with engineering on manufacturing issues and new product development.
• Maintain 5S standards in work areas.
• Train employees on products and methods.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Act as backup in kitting jobs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications

High school or vocational education with 1-3 years of assembly experience. Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and schematics. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
