Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Mechanical Assembler in Arlington, TX. You will assemble structural frames, enclosures, and subassemblies for switchgear and power distribution equipment, reading engineering drawings and BOMs to meet quality standards.

The role is onsite with shift from 5:45AM to 4:15PM, starting pay at $23/hr. Benefits include health coverage, retirement plan, PTO, and tuition assistance. Safety and continuous improvement are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to interpret bills of materials (BOM).
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Able to frequently lift up to 35 pounds; occasional lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
• Assemble mechanical structures, enclosures, frames, and subassemblies.
• Verify materials and components against BOM.
• Use hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and assembly equipment.
• Install mechanical hardware and components per specifications.
• Perform quality inspections throughout assembly.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic assembly issues.
• Record production and quality information using company systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Support safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

Position Overview

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will assemble structural frames, enclosures, mechanical components, and subassemblies used in switchgear and power distribution equipment.

You will use engineering drawings, blueprints, bills of material, torque tools, and assembly procedures to ensure products meet customer and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions
• Assemble mechanical structures, enclosures, frames, and subassemblies

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles
