Haug Implement Co. in Willmar, MN is seeking an automotive technician to diagnose engines, transmissions, electrical and hydraulic systems, and to perform repairs and preventative service inspections. The role includes loading/unloading equipment and thorough documentation of work performed.

Qualifications

• One or more years’ experience or technical college degree or certification preferred.
• Experience with repair, service, and maintenance following technical manual procedures.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience operating vehicles, tools, and equipment for diagnostic purposes.
• Experience with basic computer functions.
• Experience using Service ADVISOR or other computer based diagnostic tools preferred.
• Able to lift, bend, and carry.
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record required.
• CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) preferred.

Job description

• Performs diagnostics on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and other components and determines what repairs are needed
• Performs preventative service inspections
• Loads and unloads equipment as needed
• Provides complete and thorough work order documentation on diagnostics and repairs performed, parts used, and time worked

Haug Implement Co. provides an estimated base pay range. The actual starting pay offer will account for our overall wage and benefit package, applicant experience, training, skill, and internal equity among our existing employees. This is an hourly position with a potential hiring offer range of $22.00-35.00 per hour, based on factors listed above.
