Job summary

Westmor Industries in Portage, WI is seeking a skilled Mechanic to perform general repairs on propane and refined fuel trucks, inspect vehicles, and maintain high safety standards.

You will troubleshoot 12V wiring, calibrate meters, weld with MIG/TIG, and work around gas and liquids, contributing to timely service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical background or experience.
• Welding skills (MIG & TIG) preferred.
• Understanding of 12V electrical systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• General repairs on propane and refined fuel trucks and transports.
• Operating equipment in a 100% safe manner following appropriate regulations, policies and procedures.
• Ensuring work meets Westmor’s standard of quality and customers’ expectations.
• Completing repairs on time.
• Working safely around gas, diesel, LP and Anhydrous Ammonia.
• Inspecting trucks and trailers to determine necessary service/repairs.
• Repairing piping systems, pumps, valves and meters.
• Calibrating meters.
• Trouble shooting and repairing 12 volt wiring systems.
• Other duties as assigned.
