Job summary

Westmor Industries is seeking a skilled Repair Technician to perform repairs on propane and refined fuel trucks and transports. You will inspect vehicles, troubleshoot, and repair piping systems, pumps, meters, and 12V electrical systems, while maintaining safety and quality.

• Strong mechanical background or experience.
• Welding skills (MIG & TIG) a plus.
• Understanding of 12V electrical systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs on propane and refined fuel trucks and transports.
• Inspect trucks and trailers to determine necessary service/repairs.
• Repair piping systems, pumps, valves and meters; calibrate meters.
• Troubleshoot and repair 12V wiring systems.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in all tasks.

Job Description

A Repair Technician is responsible for completing the following duties:

• General repairs on propane and refined fuel trucks and transports
• Operating equipment in a 100% safe manner following appropriate regulations, policies and procedures
• Ensuring work meets Westmor’s standard of quality and customers’ expectations
• Completing repairs on time
• Working safely around gas, diesel, LP and Anhydrous Ammonia
• Inspecting trucks and trailers to determine necessary service/repairs
• Repairing piping systems, pumps, valves and meters
• Calibrating meters
• Trouble shooting and repairing 12 volt wiring systems
• Other duties as assigned
