Job summary

Westmor Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled Mechanic to perform general repairs on propane and refined fuel trucks and transports, inspect equipment, and ensure safety and quality standards are met on every job.

You will work with gas, diesel, LP and anhydrous ammonia environments, calibrate meters, troubleshoot 12V wiring, and complete repairs on time, with competitive benefits and a culture of opportunity.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical background or hands-on repair experience.
• Ability to use gas torch and plasma cutters.
• Understanding of 12V electrical systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs on propane and refined fuel trucks and transports.
• Operate equipment safely following regulations, policies and procedures.
• Ensure work meets Westmor’s quality standards and customers’ expectations.
• Complete repairs on time.
• Work safely around gas, diesel, LP and Anhydrous Ammonia.
• Inspect trucks and trailers to determine needed service/repairs.
• Repair piping systems, pumps, valves and meters.
• Calibrate meters.
• Troubleshoot and repair 12V wiring systems.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

A Mechanic is responsible for completing the following duties:

• Performing general repairs on propane and refined fuel trucks and transports
• Operatingequipment in a 100% safe manner following appropriate regulations, policies and procedures
• Ensuring work meets Westmor’s standard of quality and customers’ expectations
• Completingrepairs on time
• Working safely aroundgas, diesel,LPandAnhydrous Ammonia
• Inspecting trucks and trailers to determine necessary service/repairs
• Repairing piping systems, pumps, valvesand meters
• Calibrating meters
• Troubleshooting and repairing 12 volt wiring systems
• Other duties as assigned
