Summary:
The Depot Mechanic/Welder is responsible for executing all phases of container repair to meet company standards for quality control and to provide the best customer service centered quality service at the lowest possible cost. This role is accountable for proper completion of all issuance of certificates, estimate repairs as well as personal compliance with all company policies. The Depot Mechanic/ Welder is responsible for inspecting and testing on containers. The Depot Mechanic/Welder is also responsible for removal and properly fitup steel frame inserts and sections for welding on container frames and barrel. In addition, the Depot Mechanic/Welder will also perform other duties as instructed by the Manager of Container Operations/ Operations Manager.
Duties include (but not limited to):
Sign-On Bonus Program is in effect for successful applications through 2025.
Bonus payments will be made in 25% increments after completing 90 days, 6 months, 9 months and 12 months.
This program is subject to renewal or change at the discretion of management with proper posted notification.
