Job summary

ETS Staffing in Lafayette, Indiana is seeking a Mechanic for an in-person role with our client. The position offers a 1st shift schedule, Monday–Friday, with overtime opportunities and a pay rate of $21–$23 per hour.

You will install mechanical parts and sheet metal assemblies, assemble and troubleshoot 12-volt electro-mechanical systems, and work with manufacturing teams to resolve issues. Candidates should be proficient with hand and power tools, read mechanical drawings, and communicate

Qualifications

• Experience with hand and power tools such as drills, impacts, and grinders.
• Ability to read mechanical part drawings and use measuring tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and take direction.

Responsibilities

• Install mechanical parts and sheet metal assemblies using basic machine shop tools
• Assemble and troubleshoot 12-volt electro-mechanical systems
• Debug and troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic mechanical systems
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve mechanical issues
