Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals seeks a Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a diverse fleet of equipment, including aerial platforms, pumps, HVAC, and more. You will work in a safety-conscious environment and contribute to uptime and service excellence.

With 3–5 years of relevant experience, you will develop skills across equipment types and potentially pursue a career track in service or operations management. Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with diesel/heavy equipment or related equipment strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment.
• Work with a team in a safety-focused environment to reduce downtime.
• Operate on a variety of makes and models and develop career progression in service or operations management.
