Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanic Shop Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing routine maintenance on a variety of vehicles. You’ll work closely with other technicians and service advisors to ensure all repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest standard of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on vehicles including brakes, engines, transmissions, suspension, heating/AC, electrical systems, etc.
  
  
• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, and tune-ups.
  
  
• Accurately document all work performed, including parts used and time spent.
  
  
• Communicate effectively with team members and service advisors regarding vehicle status and repair needs.
  
  
• Use diagnostic tools and service manuals to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  
  
• Keep work area clean and organized; follow safety procedures and company policies.
  
  
• Maintain certifications and stay up to date with industry standards and training.
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training a plus.
  
  
• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician .
  
  
• ASE certification(s) a plus, or willingness to obtain.
  
  
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques.
  
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
  
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  
  
• Must have own tools or willingness to acquire them.
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  
  
• Standing for long periods; bending, crouching, and working in tight spaces.
  
  
• Use of hand tools and power equipment.
