Mechanic Shop Supervisor - Full Medical Benefits

Requirements

• At least 3 years' experience operating and repairing Class 8 tractors and trailers with air brakes
• Management or supervisory experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience with TMT/Transman is a plus
• Valid driver's license required; CDL A preferred

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop operations
• Assign work schedules and manage workloads effectively
• Manage inventory accurately
• Troubleshoot repairs and plan cost-effective maintenance
• Develop safe and efficient solutions to support company growth
• Train, supervise, and evaluate shop mechanics and support staff
• Participate in hiring and disciplinary processes
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and use of safety equipment
