Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking a skilled Mechanic in the United States to repair and service pumps, compressors, turbines, and related rotating equipment. You will interpret drawings, document measurements, and ensure quality by following OEM standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to use precision tools.
Familiar with rotating equipment standards (API/ANSI/OEM).
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced shop.

Responsibilities

Performs duties under Shop Manager to meet daily team goals.
Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, and related rotating equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and lead root cause analysis.
Interpret technical drawings, OEM manuals, and repair specifications.
Document repair findings, measurements, tolerances, and parts used.
Represent OTC professionally and build customer relationships.
Follow safety protocols and participate in ongoing training.
Handle emergency service calls to keep operations moving.
Be flexible and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
