Our Lady of Consolation, part of Catholic Health, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic with a primary focus on painting to maintain the appearance, safety, and overall condition of the facility through interior and exterior painting, surface preparation, and general maintenance tasks.

The role involves patching, sanding, priming, and painting walls, ceilings, doors, and trim, plus routine preventive maintenance in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in commercial or institutional painting and general maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, drywall repair, and finishing.
• Experience in a healthcare, nursing home, or long-term care environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, patch, sand, prime, and paint walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and other surfaces throughout the facility.
• Repair drywall, plaster, and minor wall damage before painting.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to help maintain a safe and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
• Inspect facility areas for cosmetic and maintenance needs and complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain painting equipment, tools, and supplies while ensuring proper storage and cleanup.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, patch, sand, prime, and paintwalls, ceilings, doors, trim, and othersurfaces throughout thefacility.

Salary Range

USD $30.85 - USD $30.85 /Hr.

The pay for this position ranges is $30.85 per hour.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
