Job summary

Our Lady of Consolation, a Catholic Health facility, seeks a Maintenance Mechanic with a primary focus on painting to maintain the appearance, safety, and condition of the facility through interior and exterior painting and related maintenance tasks.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and experience in commercial or institutional painting and general maintenance; healthcare setting experience is a plus. Compensation includes a base pay of $30.85 per hour plus generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of painting techniques, surface prep, drywall repair, and finishing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, patch, sand, prime, and paint walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and other surfaces.
• Repair drywall, plaster, and minor wall damage before painting.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to maintain a safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
• Inspect areas for cosmetic and maintenance needs and complete work orders promptly.
• Maintain painting equipment, tools, and supplies with proper storage and cleanup.
• Follow safety procedures, infection control protocols, and OSHA regulations.
• Assist with general maintenance duties including basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and preventive maintenance as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Salary Range

USD $30.85 - USD $30.85 /Hr.

The pay for this position ranges is $30.85 per hour.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
