Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Mechanic in the Indianapolis area to ensure all fleet vehicles and equipment are maintained and repaired efficiently. You will perform preventative maintenance, coordinate repairs with managers and field specialists, and review inspection reports to prioritize work.

The role requires experience with diesel and small engines, aerial lifts, spray equipment, and the ability to read manuals and diagnose issues. CDL preferred and ASE certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in small engine repair and two-stroke engine maintenance.
• Diesel engine repair and maintenance experience.
• Experience operating and maintaining aerial lift (bucket) trucks.
• Experience with spray equipment, tanks, and pumps.
• Own basic tools for engine repair and maintenance.
• Ability to read and comprehend instruction manuals, diagnostic charts, and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues.

Responsibilities

• Performing preventative maintenance and major repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Coordinating repairs and maintenance with Managers and field specialists.

• Ordering and receiving parts and supplies, completing required paperwork for the office and vendors.
