Job summary

SavATree LLC in Waverly, NE is seeking a Mechanic to keep our fleet vehicles and equipment ready and operating through preventive maintenance and repairs. This full-time, on-site role offers a compensation range of $55,000–$65,000 based on experience and responsibilities.

You will perform maintenance, coordinate repairs with managers, review vehicle inspection reports, order parts, and train field technicians.

Qualifications

• Experience in small engine repair and two-stroke engine maintenance.
• Diesel engine repair and maintenance experience.
• Experience operating and maintaining aerial lift (bucket) trucks.
• Experience with spray equipment, tanks, and pumps.
• Own basic tools for engine repair and maintenance.
• Ability to read and comprehend instruction manuals, diagnostic charts, and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues.
• A valid driver’s license (Class B CDL preferred).
• ASE certification a plus.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Performing preventative maintenance and major repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment.

Position Summary

• Experience with spray equipment, tanks, and pumps
• Your own basic tools for engine repair and maintenance
• Ability to read and comprehend instruction manuals, diagnostic charts, and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues
• A valid driver’s license (Class B CDL preferred)

• Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.

Physical Requirements:
Employees may frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move over fifty (50) pounds.
