Position Details

*Pay is Negotiable, Based on Experience - Please note we are looking for an entry or mid-level candidate*

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Perform mechanical duties on equipment as instructed, in accordance with QA, health/safety, and OSHA requirements and policies.
  2. Disassemble, assemble, and test equipment under the direction of the Workshop Manager.
  3. Fabricate lightweight apparatus and structures used in equipment maintenance.
  4. Coordinate with project management, engineers, technical staff, and other personnel to complete projects.
  5. Maintain housekeeping and perform maintenance activities as required.
  6. Provide additional support as needed.
Qualifications
  • At least three years of experience with refurbishment/reconditioning of parts in a job shop or similar environment.
  • Knowledge of disassembly, assembly, machining, and fabrication including MIG, SMAW, and TIG welding.
  • Experience with overhead cranes, lift trucks, and rigging techniques.
  • Understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and piping systems.
  • Electrical system knowledge, including wiring motors and small panels.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read prints and drawings accurately.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Educational background: Vocational, High School, or Technical Training, or equivalent experience.
Physical Demands

Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close, color, peripheral, and depth perception.

Schedule
  • Full-Time, 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, with 30 minutes for lunch.
