Job Description

This role involves performing various maintenance and construction tasks including:

1. Millwright work: rigging, moving, assembling, and installing machinery and equipment using tools such as block and tackle, winch, hoist, and monorail. Laying out work from drawings or oral specifications, aligning and checking machinery, and installing line shafts and power drives.
2. Plumbing and pipefitting: planning, laying out, installing, repairing, and maintaining various pipelines and related components for air, oil, water, steam, drainage, gas, and other systems.
3. Sheet metal work: constructing and repairing sheet metal parts like guards, ducts, tanks, and hoods.
4. Masonry: performing cement finishing, plastering, and laying bricks, tiles, and stones as needed for plant facilities.
5. Miscellaneous maintenance tasks: including servicing, assembly, construction, and installation duties, potentially supervising helpers.

Tools & Equipment Used: All necessary tools and measuring instruments required for the duties.

Qualifications

Requires three years of qualifying maintenance experience, with at least one year as a qualified plumber, pipe fitter, or millwright.
