A leading company in manufacturing seeks a Mechanic Maintenance A for their Fort Worth facility. This role involves performing essential maintenance tasks including plumbing, pipefitting, and machinery installation. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of three years of relevant experience and a strong technical background in maintenance operations.
Description
Performs all phases of millwright work, including rigging, moving, assembling, and installing machinery and equipment using tools such as block and tackle, winch, hoist, and monorail. Reads and interprets drawings or oral specifications to lay out work, positions machines or equipment, checks alignment, clearance, level, and operation. Installs line shafts and power drives, and performs various construction and repair tasks.
Performs plumbing and pipefitting tasks, including planning, layout, installation, repair, and maintenance of air, oil, water, steam, drainage, paint, and gas pipelines, along with regulators, valves, gauges, controls, and other accessories.
Handles general sheet metal work, constructing parts and equipment such as machine guards, ducts, tanks, bins, hoods, trays, and chutes, and performing repairs as needed.
Performs general masonry duties, including cement finishing, plastering, laying tiles, bricks, rock, stone, and cement blocks, as required for construction, repair, or maintenance within plant facilities.
Carries out various miscellaneous maintenance, repair, servicing, assembly, construction, and installation tasks not specifically covered elsewhere. May supervise or direct helpers.
Tools & Equipment Used:
All necessary tools, equipment, and measuring instruments required for these duties.
Qualifications
Experience & Other Requirements:
Minimum of three years of qualifying maintenance experience; at least one year as a qualified plumber, pipefitter, or millwright.
