Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Millwright Work: Performs all phases of Millwright work, including rigging, moving, assembling, and installing machinery and equipment using block and tackle, winch, hoist, monorail, etc. Reads drawings or oral specifications to lay out work. Positions machinery, checks alignment, clearance, level, and operation. Installs line shafts and power drives. Performs various construction and repair tasks.
2. Plumbing and Pipefitting: Performs all phases of plumbing and pipefitting work. Plans, lays out, installs, repairs, and maintains air, oil, water, steam, drainage, paint, and gas pipelines, along with regulators, valves, gauges, controls, and other plumbing accessories.
3. Sheet Metal Work: Performs general sheet metal tasks, including laying out and constructing parts and equipment such as machine guards, ducts, tanks, bins, hoods, trays, chutes, and performing repairs as needed.
4. Masonry: Performs masonry duties including cement finishing, plastering, laying building tiles, bricks, rock, stone, cement blocks, and mortar in construction, repair, or maintenance of plant facilities.
5. Miscellaneous Maintenance: Performs various repair, servicing, assembly, construction, and installation duties not specifically covered elsewhere. May supervise helpers.

All necessary tools, equipment, and measuring instruments required for these duties.

Experience & Requirements

Minimum of three years of qualifying maintenance experience, including at least one year as a qualified plumber, pipefitter, or Millwright.
